A Review of the 2013 Nissan Rogue

A quick review of the 2013 Nissan Rogue will show you how this compact SUV delivers on gas mileage. We’ll touch on its Safety tech, Price, Interior, and Fuel economy. Read on to learn more. Whether you’re looking for an SUV for your family, or you’re looking for a car to impress the ladies, the Rogue is a great option. It comes with a standard 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, a CVT transmission, Vehicle Dynamic Control, and an Anti-lock Braking System. The Nissan Rogue is also equipped with a long list of standard safety features, including front side-impact air bags, curtain-side air bags, and driver and passenger front-side airbags. Other standard features include power seat, automatic climate control, and automatic head lights.

Fuel economy

The Nissan Rogue gets good gas mileage, thanks to its fuel-efficient 2.5-liter inline-four-cylinder engine. This engine produces 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque, and it’s mated to a continuously variable transmission. Power is delivered to the front wheels, or all-wheel drive is available for a higher price. Under normal driving conditions, all-wheel drive defaults to front-drive, but it can shift up to 50% of available torque to the rear axle if slippage is detected.

Safety tech

The 2013 Nissan Rogue adds a lot of safety technology to its lineup, including an Intelligent Around View Monitor, a 360-degree camera, and frontal collision warning. Blind spot warning and rear cross traffic alert are standard and can help avoid collisions. The Rogue also comes with Nissan Voice Recognition to make it even easier to use. Driver-assistive features include automatic emergency braking and electronic aids for smoothing bumps and braking smoothly.

Price

The Nissan Rogue is a small crossover that has been designed to get better gas mileage. While it isn’t a “green pick” by any stretch, the Nissan Rogue is an excellent choice for those looking for better gas mileage. It gets a surprisingly high twenty-three miles per gallon on the highway, according to government regulators. The fuel efficiency of the Rogue is above average, with an estimated twenty-five miles per gallon city driving and forty-five percent highway driving. In fact, the vehicle consumes fewer barrels of petroleum than any other compact crossover on the highway.

Interior

The 2013 Nissan Rogue offers excellent maneuverability for a compact crossover. Its design shares a platform with the Sentra Sedan, but it also boasts the handling of a small SUV. Its wedge-shaped grille and tilted window line give it a sporty appearance. Other exterior features include alloy wheels and chrome door skirts. The Rogue also offers a performance-oriented SV trim, which adds chrome exhaust outlets and a roof rail.

SV trims

The SV trim of the 2013 Nissan Rogue offers more advanced features than the base S. It comes with heated outside mirrors with LED turn signal indicators. It also has trial access to NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM. The SV also offers a rearview camera and an optional heated steering wheel. The SV has 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, while the SL has 19-inch alloy wheels. It also has a panoramic moonroof.

Around View Monitor

The new Around View Monitor for the 2013 Nissan Rogue is a great way to monitor your surroundings in real time. This system uses four wide-angle cameras on the exterior of the vehicle to create a virtual overhead view of your surroundings. The camera will also detect and identify moving objects in real time, and you can see a split-screen close-up of different views. You’ll be able to see what’s going on around you even if you’re driving slowly.

XTRONIC CVT(r) transmission

The XTRONIC CVT(r) automatic transmission in the 2013 Nissan Rogue is a highly-efficient system that offers enhanced acceleration, smooth gear transitions and outstanding fuel efficiency. The transmission utilizes high performance ATF and the ratio spread is among the widest among CVTs. This system is designed for vehicles with engines ranging from 1.5 to 2.0 liters and delivers impressive fuel economy while maintaining outstanding performance.
